Cloud never re-downloaded them, and I never had to jump through any hoops. Not perfect, but it works out.ĮDIT: I actually have XCOM as well, and I routinely bulk-delete my saves. I can handle not having this game synced to the cloud, and then I can keep my unwanted saves off my game. Can't find a way to get rid of that.īut whatever. Most of that being these saves, I should think. When I go Right Click -> Properties -> Updates, under the Cloud options it says I have ~500mb saved in the cloud. Although it seems that no matter what I do, as soon as I enable cloud sync, Steam re-downloads all my saves again. ![]() Ah, now that's more like it! Managed to find the saves at last. I had done something similar once for another game - XCOM EU. That should let steam think that the old saves were deleted via in-game menu.
